Reno Air Show Crash

Standard

I hate to be an idea assassin, but Air Shows seem dangerous. The “box seats” they speak of in this video seem irresponsible. It’s overwhelming to watch the scene unfold, and I’m praying for the victims and their families. No disrespect to the victims, but it does appear like the pilot did all he could at the last minute to avoid killing hundreds of people in the stands. Question….was he too old to fly? I feel lucky…..

Strange, but I have so many different subversive obstacles in my way at present. But one things for sure, and two things for certain, friday afternoon always makes my obstacles feel so unimportant. Almost like they’re conquered in advance! Why can’t I have this positive thinking during the week? I do practice the Law of Attraction and I beseech God for the answers too, but as of late, I feel like my head is clouded and the positive visuals aren’t manifesting. I will admit, it’s difficult being a married (separated; not by choice) mother of 4, unemployed, and deemed disabled by the state. So, the manifesto I’m toting these days are: Art makes the world brighter, and completing your Master’s Degree in Art History or maybe a Foreign Language is just what the doctor ordered! Make your mark on the world Treen! Reinvent yourself, and make those 4 kids beam with pride 🙂

She’s temperamental, causing football and baseball games to be delayed or cancelled, people scramble to leave her presence, and she’s a horrible house guest. Every time she enters a room theres a tornado of emotion….she’s not good company. Her personality is less to be desired. But one things for sure and two things for certain, thank God I don’t have to deal with her directly!!!! Amen

Hello world!

I left the template because it is so fitting! HELLO! I found out today that I am utterly amazed that I hadn’t realized just how passionate I am about Art! Especially contemporary art. I love abstract expressionists, surrealists, and Mexican muralists to name a few. Lately, I have been mesmerized on You Tube by artists the like of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jasper Johns, and Faith Ringold, Keith Haring, Margaret Bourke-White, and Christo and Jean-Claude.

The perspective from which I view the world seems to have shifted on its axis. Through art I can find the aesthetic beauty that real life sometimes shields from one’s eyes.
